Why Measure Human and AI Contribution?
Artificial intelligence is increasingly incorporated into research, design, communications, software development and organisational workflows.
Yet the presence of AI does not explain how a project was developed, who made its important decisions or whether the technology improved the outcome.
Superintel.group is exploring a transparent approach to documenting human and AI contributions across its project portfolio.
The Human × AI Spectrum
Initial project estimates demonstrate a wide range of approaches.
Project Human AI
CMT 100% 0%
Climate Youth Resilience 95% 5%
ChristianFellowship.world 60% 40%
Superintel.group 20% 80%
These figures are preliminary, self-reported estimates of production contribution. They have not been independently measured and should not be interpreted as percentages of project value, quality or impact.
Three Dimensions of Intelligence
Contribution
What activities were performed by people, AI systems or a combination of both?
Agency
Who established the objectives, exercised judgment and made meaningful decisions?
Accountability
Who reviewed the work, verified its accuracy and accepted responsibility for the final outcome?
These dimensions provide more useful information than an AI percentage alone.
Appropriate by Design
A project involving minimal AI may be highly effective because its requirements are best met through human expertise.
A project involving substantial AI may benefit from faster exploration, generation or development, but still require careful human evaluation.
The objective is not to maximise AI adoption.
It is to make appropriate choices that support better work.
An Evolving Framework
As the Superintel portfolio develops, the Human × AI framework will be refined to document production methods, technology choices, human oversight and project outcomes.
Future assessments may distinguish research, strategy, content generation, technical development, review and delivery.
The purpose is transparency, learning and responsible application—not a competition between human and artificial intelligence.
