Expanding Access to Opportunity

Education, practical skills and enterprise development can contribute significantly to individual opportunity, economic participation and community development.

Through an emerging collaboration, Superintel.group is supporting the positioning and development of an initiative intended to expand access to a growing portfolio of qualifications and practical learning pathways in South Africa.

The project brings together opportunities for education, skills development and enterprise participation, with an emphasis on increasing access and supporting meaningful progression.

Project Objectives

The initiative is working towards ambitious enrolment targets across an expanding range of qualifications.

Projected enrolments by 2027: 30,000 people

Longer-term enrolment target: 100,000 people

These figures represent working projections and planning targets. They are not confirmed enrolments, programme completions or qualifications already awarded.

Areas of Development

The initiative encompasses opportunities relating to:

  • Access to qualifications and structured learning

  • Practical skills development

  • Enterprise development

  • Learner enrolment and participation

  • Institutional and delivery partnerships

  • Monitoring and evaluation of educational outcomes

The qualification portfolio and participating delivery arrangements are continuing to develop.

Measuring Progress and Impact

As the project progresses, reporting should distinguish between:

Enrolment: People registered for qualifications.

Participation: Learners actively engaging in their programmes.

Completion: Learners successfully completing programme requirements.

Qualifications awarded: Verified qualifications issued through the relevant recognised institutions.

Longer-term outcomes: Employment, enterprise development, further learning and other demonstrable benefits.
